There are 4 requirements for the PI rotation at this time.  

You are expected to go to the monthly (1) PI meeting, typically on the 1st Wednesday of the month in the Physician Lounge Conference Room from 12:30p-2:30p and (2) department meeting, now on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Conference Center at 7am before conference.

Additionally, we'd like you to (3) set up a time to spend 4 hours with the ED Outcomes RN, Danielle Litro, to see how she is involved with the improvement process, following a number of the government-tracked outcome topics.  Please contact her directly either by email danielle.litro@advocatehealth.com, or calling 41-1710, or stopping by her office in the ER offices.

Lastly, you need to do a (4) PI/Admin project for the block and email me a couple of lines about what you did for inclusion in your residency portfolio, as the RLT goes through this during your residency review.  This project does not necessarily have to be with an "admin" or "PI" attending if any of the other attendings have a project, it just tends to be that the "admin" and "PI" people will have more things going on.  Often times, this PI/Admin project is used at the basis for your required Safety lecture.
