Center for Medical Simulation
The center for medical simulation is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art training for our emergency medicine residents. Residents participate in weekly simulation sessions, a yearly airway course, oral boards cases and procedure labs.
The EM simulation curriculum covers difficult cases, rare scenarios and procedural skills. Residents have the opportunity learn simulation first hand in our Medical Simulation elective.
At Advocate Christ Medical Center we focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes. Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine residents complete a central venous line placement training.
